Our 234 gallon still was handcrafted from approximately 1100 pounds of copper. The base is 4 feet in diameter, and it stands over 9 feet tall. Inside the base is a ¾ -inch copper heating coil which aids in heating the wort. The “worm” or cooling coil is a 1-inch copper coil through which the distilled alcohol travels and condenses as it spirals through the cooling drum.
